These terms apply to the Peckish mobile app and website during the Melbourne closed beta. By using Peckish you agree to these terms.

Beta service

Peckish is a pre-release beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. Restaurant extraction from Instagram is automated and may be inaccurate — you can edit or fix places in the app.

Your account

You must sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not share access credentials or attempt to access other users' data.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Abuse parsing limits, scrape the service, or reverse-engineer our systems.
• Submit illegal content or content you do not have rights to share.
• Use Peckish to harass others or violate third-party terms (including Instagram's).
• Interfere with the security or availability of the service.

Instagram and third parties

Peckish is not affiliated with Instagram, Meta, Google, or Apple. You must comply with their terms when sharing content into Peckish. Map and place data may be subject to Google's terms.

Pricing

Peckish is free during the closed beta. If we introduce paid plans later, we will notify you before charging.

Disclaimer

Peckish is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee restaurant hours, locations, or availability. Always verify details before visiting a venue.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peckish and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the beta.

Termination

We may suspend or end beta access at any time. You may stop using Peckish by deleting the app and contacting us to delete your account data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are subject to the courts of Victoria.
